OWLS at the Scottish Parliament
by Sue Newberry - Tuesday, 14 May 2013, 8:55 AM

The OWLS partners had a fantastic meeting with Juliet McAlpine, Assistant Director for Life Long Learning, Education Scotland and a wonderful tour of the Scottish Parliament by Alex Fergussion MSP. This was just part of what the OWLS partners did whilst visiting Edinburgh in April.

The OWLS partners visited Edinburgh for 3 days during April. They had reached an important milestone in the project - they had completed the first phase of the project, the Research and Development work to complete their prototype.

This prototype is now being piloted in the 5 EU member states. In Edinburgh, the OWLS partners got a change to meet some of the UK pilot site partners face to face - Birtenshaw from the North West of England and Voluntary Action Orkney who flew in from Kirkwall to join us.

OWLS partners and UK Pilot Sites hear about the Scottish Government's priorities for VET

Many thanks to Juliet and Alex for helping to make the OWLS visit to Scotland so memorable for all concerned.
